In Spain, there are 4,231,018 women between the ages of 16 to 64 who are seriously at risk from poverty and social exclusion.
International Women’s Day was celebrated on March 8, a day on which Roberlo joined the Adecco Foundation in its 2022 Women’s Week, with the aim of boosting the employment of more than 4 million women in Spain who are at risk of social exclusion.
This helps Roberlo address 5 of the Sustainable Development Goals: end of poverty, reduced inequality, gender equality, decent work and economic growth and generation of partnerships, by supporting an initiative that 97 other companies have also signed up to.
Women at risk of Social Exclusion Week
Throughout the whole week, volunteers from Roberlo’s Department of Organization and Employee Development and the Customer Service Department, together with the Adecco Foundation and other voluntary companies, gave training workshops about their areas of work, which were aimed at women in vulnerable situations.
These training workshops deal with the job search from an integral perspective, allowing the beneficiaries to acquire the skills and knowledge required to handle the job search from start to finish.
